Springing Forward

I am surely the only parent excited about losing an hour to daylight savings time.  Because Bella was born at 7:07 a.m., I spend time thinking about her every morning.  I keep a little bit of the curtain pulled back so that I can see the sky when I first wake up.  Now that 7:07 comes earlier, my "Bella time" coincides with the prettiest colors in the sky again.

To live in this world
you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;

to hold it against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes
to let it go,
to let it go.”
